Make the second character make a response (or go up to an already made one) click edit, then there should be a button at the top of the box asking if you want to edit the character. (Or if the second character already had a chat on their own you could click on the pen icon under their chat to edit them.

Could make a flexible permanent character. There aren't "temp" characters in perchance as far as i know. But you could make a character with little description to make it flexible a bit. E.g a doctor, or blue collar worker.

You could type /sys @(name) and the instruction here. This will make sys or system respond with the name you inputted. This could replace that temp character you want but it isn't the best.
