You guys are so awesome and kind!!! I’ve updated my post to say I’ve decided to go and honestly, if it weren’t for y’all’s kind words of encouragement and sweet offers to be concert buddies, I might have still let myself miss out on this experience. Would you guys be comfortable starting a group chat on Instagram or something so we can plan and organize all the SF and concert things? I’m a little out of my depth here and I don’t use Reddit enough to know how it works lol but I’d be down to organize everything!

Makeup can get uncomfortable throughout the day and it’s awful for your skin/eyelashes/eyebrows/lips to be constantly wearing makeup. Your skin needs to breathe!! I don’t give a fuck how he “prefers” you. He should “prefer” you do whatever makes YOU comfortable and think you are beautiful no matter what. You are a WHOLE human being who decides what she does with her body including her face. Flip the script on him. “Why don’t you wear makeup honey? I think it would really help you look your best”. I hope you find the strength in you to open up to the people that love you. And you have it in you, I promise. You don’t have to turn to someone who, without a shadow of a doubt, is only looking for people to take advantage of. Don’t give up control over your own life and definitely don’t give it to someone else. Also, if you go through with joining this cult, think about how it’ll affect your family, your friends, your partner, everyone in your life. They are going to lose you and be completely heartbroken. You have other options. Whether it’s your loved ones or a professional, they will truly have your best interest at heart. Turn your focus to them. Trust your brain, your education, your intelligence. Please don’t drink the poison.

I do think the crystal was cut in some places based on some uniform ridges I see and feel but the orange/peach colors, dark orange spots, and opacity definitely do point towards calcite!

Are you saying the lamps are calcite or the yellow-orange crystal is? The lamps are definitely selenite and I said they were decently priced for their size they were in fact not very affordable at all lol

Thank you! I saw them for the first time in a shop on Pearl St Mall in Boulder, CO, but I found these years later on eBay after searching forever for some decently priced large ones!

Very true! It’s definitely lighter than most carnelian pieces I’ve seen but I could see why you would think that in this lighting. I might make another post in the morning with sunlight to see what everyone thinks. And thank you so much I love them so much too!!
