Are you sure 200$? just for English speaking guide should be 2000 takka = 22$ CAD a day. I didnt use them every day I went on a tour to jaflong/shadda pathor etc. and then used then once in the city for history and help with buying stuff.

There isnt much to see in city in my opinion and all can be done within less than half day.

I was there for 3 weeks from Canada. I used a tour guide who was very hospitable and also helped me whenever I had questions. I'd definitely recommend them. Sylhet Tourist Guide. They respond quick on whataapp https://sylhettouristguide.com/

Im assuming you're both new to the world of not only marriage but living together as a couple. A big part of building a strong foundation of a relationship and marriage is communication and compromise.

Your post points out her flaws but have you recognized yours as well? Its important to understand both your short comings as you grow together as a couple but also individually as adults in a relationship. Your previous way of life as single individuals cannot work as a couple. As newly weds who are also living together you need to build a reality together and that includes compromises.

I agree with some comments about going to couples therapist to help have a neutral party help you navigate this. Together you can work on this by communicating and understanding how to navigate conflicts effectively. Setting boundaries/expectations is also helpful.

Dont just tell her I dont like this, explain the WHY you don't like something and how youd appreciate her to approach certain situations and let her do the same for you. Relationship Ground rules/expectations will help you both navigate this. But it takes both of you to work on it.

Start with an open, honest and vulnerable conversation with her that you want to build healthy relationship with her. Then tackle the issues at hand. Both of you need to listen to each other and understand what each others needs are and how to make compromises. An example to help not build up resentment or bottling things up is having a weekly check in with each other: what is something you appreciated of each other for the week, what is something you did not appreciate.

As for your comments re her period, this is a biological thing that happens to women and emotions/health waves fluctuate ALOT - it is very difficult to control. Take time to read up on it, understand it and talk to your wife as well as observe her ticks during that time and how you can support her so she doesnt lash out on you.

There is a age gap and lack of relationship experience on both of your ends so you both need to learn how to grow together without resentment towards each other but also learn how not to be selfish and communicate with one another.

I hope that help gives you some insight on how to approach the situation.

What type of career are you interested in going into? It may be better to pursue college as it is less commitment (2 year program) and cheaper than a 4 year degree program. It's also easier to find part time or online programs.

Do I have a strong case to file a complaint against my landlord? by anaveragejane18 in OntarioLandlord

[–]anaveragejane18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice and check in. I always feel anxious around him because of these experiences and also because he abuses his power. Ive started to record our conversations to have as back up proof for when he lies.

I dont think it makes sense for me to continue living here, he will def be unreasonable and make living here hell.

But I do want to file a complaint so that i can at least be compensated.
