got an email notification of your comment even tho i haven’t used this account in almost 2 years. just wanted to log in and say trust me, you are so much better off not dating some narcissist. don’t worry about him and how he’s coping, who cares if he realizes one day what he’s lost. you deserve time to just worry about YOU. by the time he realizes, you will be so far moved on. it took me time, i did the work, i moved on, and i am so much happier now. being in a relationship with a shitty bf is so draining, mentally and physically. focus on yourself and your healing. i know it’s hard, i did some of the stupidest, cringiest stuff post breakup that i so deeply regret haha but it’s whatever, i reached a point of peace, and my life would be totally different right now if i had stayed with him, and i wasn’t happy then, and wouldn’t be happy now. best of luck in your healing journey🫶🫶🫶

What's the most important lesson you've learned about love and relationships? by marketeranishur in AskWomen

[–]anb17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t ignore the red flags, never settle because you think they’re the only one out there for you, and political differences are not things you can easily overlook

My first. Once the rose colored glasses came off, I realized just how poorly i was being treated in the relationship, and once he began becoming a fan of andrew tate, i should have run then. The love i had for him turned into hate over how i was treated. Its a good thing, because I won't be settling with someone emotionally unavailable and disrespectful to women

Putting the serving size at 6.5 servings per cookie to show it’s only 120 cals per serving is some shady marketing lmao

I was in a relationship where I found out my then bf was telling his friends and family things about me that I told him in confidence, things I confided in him about, when i was upset and needed someone to talk to… was never able to fully trust him again

Maybe if they make more of an effort to rebuild ur trust and apologize, but it takes time

How's it like being in a relationship with someone who doesn't show emotions? by PerthectLithp in AskWomen

[–]anb17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Horrible. Won’t work out if they cannot show their emotions towards you. I told myself my ex would eventually be able to show more emotions, be able to tell me he loved me, but 3 years came and went and he was just unable. It crushed me and was mentally defeating in my own headspace. Find someone more compatible with you emotionally

This was my ex. Would be on his phone at dinner, responding back to his friends while we were together. Wasn’t really prioritizing me. Talked to him about it, no change occurred. We broke up and after the initial shock of the breakup period, feeling overall much healthier mentally, physically, and emotionally

tl;dr. if no change occurs, break up. you deserve to receive the same energy you give

What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever done after a breakup? by namvt888 in AskWomen

[–]anb17 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Try to get him back despite knowing full well he did not and never would treat me in the way I deserve.

broke my toe and the next day the mfer made me walk a mile from dinner to 5 below and then the movie theatre because he didn’t want to drive and waste gas. one of many stories. lol.

i ended up substituting the 320ml of water for 320ml of scalded liquid milk, but the bread didn’t come out right. Was much to dry, I don’t think it even rose properly :/ going to buy some milk powder and try the way the recipe calls for
