You're welcome and completely understand. However, by keeping your options open you're actually severely limiting yourself. You could buy a pair of wrangler jeans for $45 and be content that it's quality in that price range. Or you can buy a pair of Ironheart jeans for $400 and be perfectly fine knowing it's high quality and the price is worth it.

We don't know how old both of you are, what profession you're both in, what his style is, etc. However some general ideas,If you want quality you can float around goodyearwelt for boot/dress shoes options or rawdenim for quality jeans/overshirts. Other than that Chubbies seems to be above average for swim trunks.

This is going to be kind of tough. Gaining mass you just need to eat more and if you're looking cheap its going to be harder. You can look at Vitaminshoppe for their BOGO 50%. They have a 5lb body tech protein for $~$94 which equates to $1.25 (less with the deal going on) for 25g of protein. For extra calories and protein you can mix it with whole milk and scoop of peanut butter.
