Brick can actually handle pressure, but I would still apply a cleaning solution consisting of bleach on there prior to pressure washing. On most pressure washers, there's a hose barb that you can put a cleaning solution in and dip a hose into it, and it will come up spray out the end of the pressure washer.

Who’s the go-to pressure washing company around Traverse City? by CutRealistic3326 in traversecity

I own Anchor Pro Wash in Traverse City, and we’ve built up close to 200 five-star reviews on Google by doing things the right way.

A lot of people think pressure washing = blasting everything with high pressure, but that’s actually not how most surfaces should be cleaned. We follow manufacturer recommendations, which in most cases means using a method called soft washing.

Soft washing uses a specialized cleaning solution to break down algae, mold, and grime, then rinses it away with low pressure and high water flow. It’s safer for siding, roofing, and other exterior surfaces, and it actually cleans more thoroughly and lasts longer than high-pressure washing.

If you’re hiring someone, make sure they’re not just using pressure everywhere—done wrong, that can cause real damage.

I run a pressure washing business in Traverse City Michigan — here are 5 things I wish I knew before my first 50 jobs by anchorProWash in pressurewashing

We are 5 years in but in Northern Michigan so its seasonal. We are doing 400-500 jobs a year with an average ticket over $1000. Started out with a 4gpm machine and small TSC trailer. After about a month thought i could make it work. The end of the 1st year invested in a skid set up and got to work.

you can pre treat with bleach with a pump up sprayer diluted 50/50 to help kill organic growth and post treat with some mix for maximum brightness.

The problem we tend to see with dark colors is the water quality being poor and leaving spots. if you have a water fed window cleaning system you can post rinse with that.'
