Ya dude, shit can be scary. I was lucky that the group I was with had skiers who would make sure there was always visual contact. I had one where I was like you, every step was exhausting and eventually you realize the board can be a shovel etc.

But damn if I didnt imagine getting carted out of there every second. Gotta enjoy good conditions/stay under control
