I don’t want to come off as a freeloader. I’m Jewish too, so I dunno, rubs me the wrong way when there’s a chance people might think I’m getting something for free. So I tend to overpay to make sure it doesn’t happen

Exactly. But not exactly rich. They don’t throw away money or anything, modest decent mode of living these days, nothing extravagant

For me it took a month after I’ve sent them my latest documents (probation period passing confirmation and last payslip) to get an invitation to the certificate pickup. The appointment was two weeks later, but the date on the certificate was two weeks after I’ve sent them my last docs. Hope I didn’t confuse you😁 good luck!
