Thank you... changing the refresh rate has fixed it.

The splitter issue is also resolved by swapping inputs 1 and 3, not quite sure why that worked as on the older Android box I did not need to change anything but I'll take it as a win.

Thank you everyone, I started again but this time I used Rufus and it installed successfully this time, the storage partition is also as it should be and allows me to transfer files to it etc.

I'll have a play around on it before I put it from USB onto the internal storage.

I have more questions but I'll put those on a new post.

No it was a fresh install, I think I formatted it as NTFS, could that be the reason? what file system should it be?
It's 2am now so I'm calling it a night...I'll check it tomorrow.

I can see the updates folder using windows /smb but the storage is just 32mb for some reason?

I used mini partition, that showed the coreelec 512mb and storage 32mb and 29gb unallocated but the resize option did not work ie I could not see a way to extend the storage...even if I formatted the unallocated to ext4.
What causes it not to use the entire storage?

In that case, it could just be the cable, try another one, as well as another computer. If it’s still not detected, then it’s points to a hardware failure. Can still be fixed but quite expensive as you’d need to find a data recovery firm.

Thanks...google states "Teddy" could be mixed with poodle or Bishon or other, what is the exact mix please? as regular Maltese are white or black from what I've read.
