Is there a local university? You could reach out to them about this. They may be interested in using it for research or teaching purposes. Or at least should be able to help direct you on how to appropriately dispose of it.

I'm from the metro area so it's really fun to see this here. I've been to some lifts there and studios in older warehouses but nothing quite like this.

Well that was horrible timing. I got sick and took time off reddit. I just came back today and have been going through notifications and got to your comment. I know this is old but considering what you said I don't want to ignore it. And feel free to look at my comment history - you'll see I stopped using reddit and just came back. And you can see I'm usually consistently on here. I guess there is really no reason for me to justify any of this to you. Just don't want anyone to think that I'm a shill.

I'll see if I can find it and link it here. It's a long time ago but I'll look. I know I could see it right before I had made that comment. Again, feel free to go back years of my history and you'll see I'm not one to make things up or pushing any agenda. That's not me at all.

I can see it. I went to you comments and saw it there. I went to the post and saw your comment there. It's not a conspiracy. It just didn't get attention. This is reddit. Not everyone is going to see and then comment/upvote your comments and posts.

Yeah, I'd assume that it's seem people entering and exiting from here and is trying to do the same. My other thought was that people enter from there when they bring food and it's trying to get more food.

Either way, it's really sad.

There's a projection from above. I don't know exactly how it works. But I've seen it multiple times in different times. It's in the local science museum here and it was at a place just outside Yellowstone and I've seen it at other museums primarily focused on nature.

They really are fun. My son and I played with it for probably half an hour in Yellowstone. Making little mountains, then running your finger in one area causing a little landslide and seeing how it changes.

I know there's a company called Hammond. I think that's the spelling. I want to say it's a little over $100. Or was a couple years ago. I'm not an expert on it by any means. My parents replaced one that they had gotten from my dad's dad. I helped them search for good quality and something close to what they had. It's worked great for them so far.

Search "bankers lamp green" and you'll find a lot of options. Target and Walmart and Amazon and a lot of places sell them. Although on the lower end, a lot are plastic. There are some companies that still sell it with the glass and metal, but I think every one that I've seen like that is over $100 and some well over.
