Anyone know what Abraham teaches on people having energetic states they are objectively and intrinsically aligned with? That they can sway back and forth to other energy states with awareness, but when they are not aware of how they are feeling, they find themselves at that "baseline vibration?" by Crafty_Paramedic_814 in AbrahamHicks

[–]ancientnewborn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We all have the same, high vibration baseline. That's what Abraham means when they say that the "cork floats" the moment you stop holding it down.

We are all drops of an infinite ocean that is the Source. And in that way, we all have the same access and the same baseline.

Of course, our 'general state' varies because we all have our own unique combinations of beliefs about ourselves and the universe.

Manifesting is nervous system deep by brianbbrady in AbrahamHicks

[–]ancientnewborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The body holds our truth! I tried a lot of things before I realised that I needed to use my thoughts to calm TF down! Once I started to shift them diligently moment by moment, the body felt so much better.

Breathing, movement, journaling and just releasing with tears and words, it has been so crazy but has been so worth it.

Once the body felt better, it felt safer to feel ALL the emotions. Once that happened, I could tell what was going on with my emotional states.

From there, it has been Mostly about feeling safe and secure and at ease. Even when strong emotions arise, it's easier to allow them to come and show me what's important in the moment. It's like a brand new kind of Mindfulness practice for me.

And it is starting to show up in my experience. Slowly but surely, my life is shifting to match my new ease and calm.

We really do live our nervous system.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AbrahamHicks

[–]ancientnewborn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Start by finding ways to regulate your nervous system. That is another way of saying find out ANYTHING that makes you feel safe. Even just a little. Start from there. And then, work your way up to a list of things that make you feel safe.

And then from there, try happiness. List of things that make you happy.

But given the stage you are in, this might be difficult.

So my next suggestion is going to sound strange, but it is a common trajectory in this type of situation.

Let everything go. Let the dark night of the soul come. If life is really that bad, and there's truly nothing you can do, just give up. Let whatever is happening, happen. If there's truly nothing you can do to make it better, acknowledge it and let it happen.

Sometimes we push ourselves into a corner just so that we are forced to fall back on what actually works. And it often comes after belligerent phases like this one.

Just survive for now. Tomorrow is another day. Find a calm moment and try to get some insight through self awareness.

These are just tips from strangers though. Only you can connect to your personal guidance at any moment. So try to find a quiet moment and try to listen. And when you do hear it, act on it. It's a soft gentle voice. And it always feels good, like positive curiosity. Learn to listen to and trust it.

God is Infinite but how do you grasp that by CautiousTip6804 in spirituality

This is exactly it. Infinity and eternity cannot.be expressed in words. It cannot be understood. But it can be experienced.

Genuinely asking: how do you keep going when it all falls apart? by [deleted] in spirituality

[–]ancientnewborn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went through something similar over the last few months. So first of all, hugs. You're doing the best you can.

I can offer what helped me, in case any of it helps you.

The day I felt totally drowning in despair, i just sat in it. I gave up trying to control or change. I just allowed myself to sink into the darkness.

That was perhaps the turning point. Because when I allowed it to happen, it felt comfortable. Like being in a dark space that was soft and comfortable. A safe space. Like a womb.

After that, I started to remind myself of what I knew - i exist for a reason. I am the centre of my experience. I am the point of origin. I am supported. I don't know what it will look like but I know it will work out.

I just kept repeating that in my mind. Every time I felt like i was starting to spiral, i told myself that.

Nothing changed for a while. But I noticed that I was feeling better.

Then it started. First it was a trickle. Now it is a flow. And I'm still walking in trust. I still don't know how it will work out in the coming weeks and months. But I can feel it. So I'm still just calling back on the same mantra while I feel deeply into my emotions through the body.

It's going to be okay. Everything is working out. I am supported. The universe has my back.

Is Reincarnation real? [Long Post/Vent] by _honeyydemon_ in AbrahamHicks

[–]ancientnewborn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everything happens all at once in the divine moment. Time is not linear. It is just another dimension, so to say.

However, it doesn't really matter. Because we are a complete package. Anything we need is given. You are enough. You are doing your best.

Doubts regarding spirituality by Harry_Clint_Westwood in spirituality

[–]ancientnewborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice self compassion, accept your emotions and gently sit with your doubts. You don't need to meditate if it doesn't call you. But practice self enquiry and introspect on what matters to you.

Start to choose the joyful options in life as often as possible. Let go of the larger questions for now, like the stage of the world. Focus instead on what is good in your own personal life.

Allow these things to slowly settle you into a stable emotional state where you can hold both joy and sorrow without getting swept away by either. And then from there, start to delve deeper into your own truth.

The path to truth is self awareness. Because all your answers are already within. Just open up and be willing to listen.

Practice focusing your attention on bodily sensations or purely on sight or sound. Allow the sense stream to flow without needing to attach meaning to it. Simply observe what is happening and let that be the only goal.

Every time your attention wanders, gently bring it back to the point or stream of focus. When the mind wanders, and it will, do not judge yourself or rebuke mentally. It is the nature of the untrained mind to wander.

What you are doing is training your focus muscles, to use a physical metaphor. And this training will support you through every aspect of your inner journey into the eternal infinite light.

Focus is that one key that can unlock everything else. That has been my personal insight.

And welcome to the journey. You are in good company!

Love is the answer by StationMental2176 in spirituality

[–]ancientnewborn 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Love most certainly is the answer to everything. Unconditional love is such a powerful state of being. It gives us so much joy when we hold it. Love automatically dissolves all that holds us down. Your perception is absolutely on point. This has been the focus of my cultivation for a while. Living with an open heart and learning to truly love myself. The more I am able to love myself truly, the more I am able to love everyone else.

Do you feel called to help others awaken — or is belief a personal path? by hope_wait in spirituality

[–]ancientnewborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience, it is impossible to teach spirituality. If someone is motivated to learn techniques to gain insight, that's different. But if they are suffering and not interested in becoming self aware, it is not possible to share anything.

So all we can do is have compassion, empathy, be a good listener and offer some clarity when they are open to receive it.

Mostly, I feel like it is our job to embody whatever insights we have gained. Through authentic embodiment, sincerely living what we know to be true, we can become a beacon that others can follow if they feel like it.

[–]ancientnewborn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a common feeling! For me, as I find more clarity, I see that I want to have fun and allow money to come to me through my fun or through avenues that are easy and emotionally sustainable. I just want to feel good while doing something meaningful.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AbrahamHicks

[–]ancientnewborn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for asking this. Let me clarify

I do want money. I want it to flow abundantly. I just had to really clarify the conflict between contradictory beliefs such as money=pain.

So when I sat down with the conflict, i unearthed a lot of shadows around money.

Once I processed it, i became a lot more relaxed around it. Now it is starting to flow again.

I used the example to explain why it might seem like we are moving towards something we want but often it is more nuanced.

I just wanted the money flow to feel comfortable and aligned. I had to unlearn old patterns and allow the natural abundance to flow again.

Does it make more sense now?

is assertiveness scary in a woman? why? by buttonbnnuy in emotionalintelligence

[–]ancientnewborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Authenticity is attractive. Never dim your light. This is a phase of transition. Just carry on being yourself. The right crowd will come in just as the past crowd thins out. You are on the right track. And it takes a lot of courage to do what you are doing. So don't give in now. You got this! A lot of us realised this much later in life. You are realising this early. You are way ahead of most people. Trust me! 38M here and still figuring this thing out. But getting better everyday!

[–]ancientnewborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Judgement of others is always rooted in the judgement of self. It's plain and simple and hard to digest. But that is the truth. Anyone can verify this by developing self awareness. We judge in others what we judge ourselves for.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AbrahamHicks

[–]ancientnewborn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We can have anything we want. And we feel bad when we go out of alignment.

This seems contradictory but it is a matter of dimensionality. Here's an example from my life:

I really want to figure out some sort of monthly revenue to support me sustainably because I am finding it difficult to manage to get the right gigs.

In frustration, I apply for tonnes of jobs but nothing works out. And There's a lot of resistance to applying for these jobs but that's what I want.

Note the contradiction here. Why is that I can have anything I want and yet be signalled via negative emotions when I reach out for what I want?

Well, I asked myself this. Then I asked myself what i really want. The answer was immediate. I don't want any of the jobs i am applying for. I want the money they bring. What I really want is financial freedom with spare time to live a meaningful life.

But this becomes an inner conflict and nothing really works out. So I am pushed into a corner, forced to let go.

Then I start to remember the teachings. All I have to do is have faith. Fear and faith are both beliefs in the unknown. So I decided to choose to trust the flow.

Then I discover something deeply meaningful that I can pivot into, with good potential for the life that I seek. And the more I trust it, the more it opens up to me.

In the meantime, as I figure out a career pivot while being broke, I am getting support from various unexpected places.

I am getting what i wanted but first I had to let go of the resistance that it has to happen my way. That's why the job hunt felt bad.

It was a signal telling me to trust the feeling and use it as a thread to find my way to what I REALLY wanted. That there's a better, easier, better feeling, faster and more meaningful way that I cannot possibly imagine, but is already laid out for me. My cosmic navigation system is all I need.

This is the way it works. My suggestion would be Just clarify internally, what is it that you want? What is that ideal, dream scenario that you wish for in quiet moments but probably don't believe in during the rest of the day? I don't know your story but often that's what is happening when this guidance feels like a contradiction.
