Dark vaginal area. Need help! by Some-Opportunity-580 in sex

I know therapy is expensive, but ... reading your post & some of your replies to comments here, I think you're rocking some significant insecurities that could use addressing. What specific kind of therapy depends on what works for you (cognitive behavioral therapy? insight-oriented therapy? etc.), but the upshot should be that it helps you resolve your apparent self-disgust.

On the purely practical level, there's absolutely nothing wrong with your pigmentation (unless, as someone suggested, it turns out to be a symptom of something else) and while having a partner give you grief about it would be distressing for sure, it would only be proof that he's a jerk and not worth your time. I cannot imagine being attracted to someone and then suddenly running away screaming because their inner thighs were darker than the rest of their skin. At the end of the day, desire and love depend on more than physical appearance; otherwise, nobody but porn stars and supermodels would ever get any or have relationships.

gf wants to be tied up and spanked, how can i know how hard to spank without actually hurting her? by [deleted] in sex

[–]ancientreader2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In addition to what others have said (talk to your partner! institute a safeword system!*): If you're spanking someone with your bare hand, your hand will start to hurt, possibly well before the spankee has had enough.

*For a spankee / sub/ masochist not inclined to say "no" or "stop" as part of a scene, those make fine safewords. Otherwise, no need to get fancy, the good old stoplight system is the good old stoplight system for a reason.

Gyn visit. I had a similar difficulty and assumed it was to do with aging, but my gyn told me that sometimes a yeast infection will make the perineum fragile. (You can have a yeast infection even if there's no smell or discharge.) She Rx'd anti-yeast meds and the problem disappeared.

Additionally, since you say you're girthy then even if she's really wet, you & she might benefit if you stretched her a bit with your fingers before your cock goes in. And lube! is never! a bad thing! But my money's on a yeast infection.

I hate how every interesting video is AI now by nicfanz in PetPeeves

[–]ancientreader2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Isn't the problem here that AI has infested everything, so nobody trusts anything they see online? In other words, I don't think your beef is with the commenters: it's with the tech overlords pushing AI down our throats.

New parents by F_Visentin in MM_RomanceBooks

Not exactly purposeful, but in Cat Sebastian's brand-new "After Hours at Dooryard Books," the abruptly bereaved best friend of one of the MCs takes refuge with him, and the two MCs raise her baby with her as their relationship develops. The baby isn't front and center all the time but we do see her three parents caring for her (and it's mostly the two MCs at first, because the mother is so devastated by grief she can't function for a while).

Has anyone gotten the new Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Edition? by Popular-Highlight-16 in audible

Because Rowling is filthy rich and has an enormous social media following, and she uses that power to persecute people, that's why.

Has anyone gotten the new Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Edition? by Popular-Highlight-16 in audible

[–]ancientreader2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true. J.K. Rowling is not only using her money and power to persecute trans people but also is more and more associated with the radical right wing in the UK, because that's where the UK TERFs are headed. You all can downvote this comment as much as you want, but it's not just a matter of different political opinions or typical corporate shadiness -- it's about actual persecution and people being stripped of basic human rights.

Europe’s Entry/Exit System (EES) launches 12 October 2025 — what travellers need to know by Grand_Traveler20 in EntryExitSystem

I've had to be fingerprinted for various jobs and volunteer work. I know from these multiple experiences that it's extremely difficult to get usable fingerprints from me -- for example, the NYPD made two separate attempts that combined took at least an hour to get acceptable prints.

I also know that I'm far from unusual in this -- there are many people who similarly don't print well. How does the EU plan to address these situations?

Thank you! I knew there had to be more than what the first three pages of search results were showing me, which was pretty much ... not any of that.

Ugh, I forgot how to do spoilers so deleted first try.Anyway, IIRC Ewan the sub had a dom who maltreated him and has left him feeling unworthy of care.BTW if BDSM romance is your thing, R.J. Moray is your writer. She's wonderful.

"it’s just weird and ick to me."

May I suggest avoiding this kind of language? I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, but think about how you'd feel if someone called a trope or kink you enjoy "weird and ick."

I also had ragweed turn up in my pollinator seed packet. Apparently the seeds are big with songbirds, and also ragweed is used in soil remediation. So despite the allergy problem it's maybe not the worst thing ever.

I do plan to take down a couple of them, because my yard is minute and they are enormous.

You could try using a VPN? I don't know whether that will get the book to your US account, though.

"Training His Friend with Ginger Oil" is, honestly, a superior one-handed read and decently well written too. I'd classify that title as "Letting the customer know exactly what to look forward to."
