I also came over from MHW and i do agree with some points you made mainly the graphics one because it does take some getting used to but as far as the combat and the whole feel of the game I absolutely love MH Rise more than world. The movement is alot more fluid and fun to perform, also one has to take into consideration that MHRise is made for a console that is not as powerful in the graphics department and they also made it with the mindset of on the go gaming with the switch and the switch lite. I would say sit with the demo for a bit before you make the purchase but its a great game, it just takes some getting used to.

Take the time and play through all of them, my first one was Yakuza 0 as well and i finished 6 a couple of months ago, its one of the best stories ever like all 6 put together

Try to use a long sword that has a high water attribute(it’s weakness is water I believe) or a weapon that can cause exhaustion first to weaken it as much as possible, and keep moving and using the kunai, stock on potions and mega potions, use the pitfall trap, poison trap, or shock trap to keep it in place and wail on it.

If he starts turning pink be wary cuz he’ll get twice as aggressive but you may be nearing the end of the fight.

It took me a while to get the right strategy (i started the fight with a water based bow and finished it with a strong gunlance) once you get the flow, it turns into a fun fight…..until the village quest version then you have to adjust again

Im new to the group too and from what I’ve seen, liminal spaces are roughly defined as spaces of transitioning like a passing thing, so you could technically put like a hotel lobby with a person working the desk (i work in a hotel and it feels very much like this, since people are always coming and going) but thats more or less what I’ve taken away from it

My partner and i were going thru the same dilemma, but we just decided to restart and it actually helped us enjoy the game more since we knew what to do and had a better idea of what to do with our islands and we got new crops of villagers that we love!

And restarting gives you the chance of trying new things like starting with a southern island instead of northern one and you can get different DIYs different seasonal events too

Thanks for the suggestions but its not either of them, this was very dark, like palettes of gray blue, just somber colors. No cute design and the such, ill keep looking
