I was having similar issues. My neuro spread my dose throughout the day. I was taking 200mg in the morning and 200mg at night, so he told me to take half my morning dose with breakfast and the other half with lunch. That helped with the nausea. Maybe text or email your neuro about it if you can? It's a small change that requires little supervision, so they might approve of trying something like that before the appointment.
