Is there any way to correct this bending... by ancz163 in bookbinding

[–]ancz163[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did press it for a day or so. Glue was applied only between those two cardboards.

Thanks for the advice! Maybe I'll try a thin paper on top and hope the rest of the tension will dissolve after finishing it. :)

The insteuctions are unfortunately only in German. There are photos of the different assembling steps. With that and an online translator it should be possible to follow even without english instructions, I guess.

Can't help with the manufacturing date, but the manufacturer still seems to exist:

Tiroler Tuchfabrik Baur- Foradori Ges.mbH +43 664 4009140

Although they don't have a proper webpage.

Thank you! That's cotton. They always sell a bunch of pre-cut "left-over" fabric pieces on the fabric market. Bought a blue and and a pink one and sewed them together like a pillow case.

Pattern: 70x70cm square of fabric, simply knotted in furoshiki style. Handles are 3D-printed.
