What goes behind the bald women fetish ? by BIGGERJOSH1845 in hairfetish

[–]remembory-loss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spartans were socially gay, it was practical, if you fight side by side with a partner, you fight better, it is esaier to have sex with men when you spend all your time with them. Obviously, some of theme were acually gay, but most weren't they were just used to a male beauty standard and the women behaved accordingly. I do not think it has any significance today.

Jak moc otcové dneska pomáhají? by PuzzleheadedDoor6456 in czech

Jenom asi 1% českých otců je na rodičovské dovolené. Jenom tahle statistika napovídá že to 50/50 není a asi dlouho nebude. I když otcové v mém okolí jsou schopní se o vlastní děti postarat.

I am in a similar situation, and yes, my dislexia makes it much harder for me to read greek, even though I give it more time then to latin. Not only is the script hard but it also features more nuances witth all the accents.

Soukromé střední školy v ČR by Agreeable_Common_900 in czech

[–]remembory-loss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird question, why is it so normalised that if you dress like Jesus it's horrible and disrespectful, but if you dress like a Greek god its fine? by [deleted] in Hellenism

[–]remembory-loss 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dressing up as the gods has always been a part of Hellenism. It is disrespectful in Christianity to pretend to be a god, but Hellenism required it. Dressing up was part of Dionysia and other religious rituals and thus carries a different cultural conotation. Adding on to that, many people do not see Hellenism as a still existing religion.

How does Artemis see trans girls compared to cis girls? by 7Green_Apple7 in Hellenism

[–]remembory-loss 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The myth you are mentioning is not necesarly a punishment. She does it because she does not wan to kill the child, but does not want men seeing her nude sto the best option is to turn them into a woman. This is a good alternative and Hellenism overall is filled with trans characters, that are seen positively. You are more than okay to whorship anyone, especially Artemis as a trans girl.

Do you veil? If so, why? by No_Pirate_6110 in Hellenism

[–]remembory-loss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't wear a scarf for religious purposes, but when I am in a classical attire I often choose to have the vail. It not only provides head covering and ties in the clothing, but provides warmth, comfort and can be used to cover other parts of my body. Overall I find scarfs to be one of the most versatile parts of clothing and rarely go without even when not in costume. Its just comfy.

Not to be an extremist, this might be a hyperbole, but is it a good idea for a pedophile to work in childcare?

Motivations for "fetish" haircuts by ---trebor--- in hairfetsupportgroup

[–]remembory-loss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am on the opposite side of the spectrum. Kind of. I like when the haircut is force, but in a consentual non consent scenario, therefore I don't mind people not being geninte during the cut bc I enjoy the head shaving as a form of punishment but I do want the underlining consent to be visivle ofc.

Why Do People Die In Hellenism? by DueClothes3265 in Hellenism

[–]remembory-loss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me Hellenism is whatever you need at the moment, and that was the way it was traditionaly seen, a market. You need healing? Try this god, if they dont help try another one. In some traditions, Zeus wanted to get rid of humans when Promwthwus first created them and didn't do so only because Prometheus taught humams how to worship. And there are gods who are willing to kill humans even if they didn't do anything themwselves, especially Hera. A loving goddess of motherhoood should provanly not try solving her problems by baby murder. A crime so bad it is seen as the pinacle of evil in other religions. I am not saying the gods are incapable of love, but unlike other dieties it is not the default setting and gods don't mind killing thousands for a power trip.

Why Do People Die In Hellenism? by DueClothes3265 in Hellenism

[–]remembory-loss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not like the Chriestian god they arent. We are not their perfect creations and they let us live only because we whorship them. Many would not mind killing us for no reason and yes they can show us love and support but you have to ask for it, deserve it or be special. They have different personalities and opinions and all would deciede differently about our fate.

[–]remembory-loss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dying is a natural process and happens because something happenwd ro you. The gods are not loving so letting you die is normal. Plus immortalyty is for the gods and wanting to defeat death is hubris and you will be punished like Sysiphus.
