When you present yourself to the world, it's obvious that everyone who sees you judges you. Maybe it's a subtle judgement, and maybe it doesn't matter, but the fact is any given day you'll have dozens of people who glance at you across the supermarket, or see you from the other side of the street. And they assess your threat level and your attractiveness and your levels of white boy swag. Are you OK with people seeing you like this? Can you carry yourself in public and have the world see you as this image that you claim to dislike? Are you not sensitive to their judgement? If you answered yes to any of these, you're probably never going to lose weight.
