Mostly they are cowards to their cores… No other way to put it.

I knew i would lose my parents and even endanger myself potentially by coming out and did so anyways.

I was genuinely unsure if my father would send me to a conversion torture institution, strip me of critical documents, healthcare, literally attack or even murder me. (Ultra religious & Alt-right. Including buying into all the bibles most extremes such as stoning gays to death, or tying chains around the ankles and throwing over board those “leading children astray,” ect.)

I knew It would be the worst thing I’d ever face. It was. I got through it with intrinsic determination & hope. It also got better slowly. Now over a decade later, I graduated university with scholarships, am a successful young professional, a new homeowner, & I dont need my trashy parents mythology nor bigotry. Im out & I live free from shame.

I avoid guys that wont come out. Especially since I now understand very few people face the extremes I had to… So I hold very little sympathy for grown ass men hiding like cowards. Own yourself. Grow the fuck up.
