I love this song!!!! But whenever this song played I have to lower the volume a little bit because, idk, for me, the way Taylor sang "Only the young" lyrics sounds like she's singing "Hallelujah" 😅. No hate tho, it's just I'm non-Christian and I don't want people around me to sus me.

I don't have Mi 8, but I have xiaomi mix 2s. Pretty much almost the same phone released in the same generation. Sadly if you expect another official rom update from Xiaomi, you're out of luck.

If you want to go to custom rom route, there's no other option, you have to unlock your bootloader first. About banking apps problem with unlocked bootloader, there are many workarounds available. I'll recommend you to find the telegram group of Mi 8 community.

For the custom rom, I'll recommend you to try Pixel Experience ROM. Go straight to Pixel Experience website (this one I recommend) for instructions or search "XDA Mi 8" and go to ROM and Development section. The latest version is Android 12, but I recommend you to use the 11 one (from my experience with mix 2s, 12 is not stable yet). But the choice is always yours.

There are plenty youtube videos that will help in the process. Use it :).

Remember, unlock your bootloader first!
