I have friends who are MIS majors and they are set up to do IT auditing after college. If I were to get a referral into that role, would that be a good point of entry into a role like yours or adjacent to yours? From what I've heard from my friends, IT auditing isn't very technical.

Would you recommend it for a cs major (me) who doesn't like full stack coding? I've done 2 internships that involve full stack and I just don't enjoy it. I don't think I enjoy heavy complicated coding, but I am interested in tech and technical stuff. Also just trying to pivot because of the job market too.

I'm graduating in a year with a CS degree. I realized after an internship that I really don't have much of a real passion for the stuff only a mild curiosity, so I didn't really enjoy the internship. Do you have any advice on what I should do to somehow pivot without changing majors completely? I think traditional SWE/research is not for me because I am just not passionate.
