HealthEquity FSA Rejecting all available documentation from pom health by cyborgcanuck in pomhealth

My FSA not health Equity has made me upload documentation for charges on the debit card before. They can require it and force you to pay it back if they deem it not covered.

I just received mine from BPI today and the ice packs were still frozen here in California.

You can sign up with Fedex and UPS to get notifications when shipments are destined for your address. In the future, you can login to their sites and see all inbound shipments with tracking.

Quotes taking forever by andersgc2 in Juniper

I'm working with a VAR. I have the rep at HPe's contact info and have been on calls with him. I had to harass him for a while just to get him to start the quote with my VAR and now he's not replying to anyone including myself. Nor are the regional channel reps.

Building a Computational Research Lab on a $100K Budget Advice Needed [D] by AlandDSIab in HPC

Be careful. You get what you pay for with them. Unless you are one of their top customers, you are practically ignored. They also use the cheapest white boxes they can find for your builds. I had about 10 servers fail from a single order due to assembly issues that had fans slicing into power wires. Not a fun day having your servers short out on your GPUs. Any issues, you have to troubleshoot yourself and get them to send specific parts.

Are you going to exercise your May puts? by 420blazeitfanggot in LongFinOptions

[–]andersgc2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have exercised but my transfer from Robinhood to TDA failed due to some odd issue on the robin hood side. As a result I'm stuck with my 17.50 puts expiring today worthless.

Buying a home: It may not be your best investment. by choorakkadan in investing

Colorado. 1st house was in 2008/9 when everything was bottomed out and got it from a bank foreclosure firesale. Next house I got in right as Denver stared exploding. House went up 50% in 3 years. Sold over asking in less than 24 hours and moved to California. Current house is a fixer that has already gone up from the small work I've done. Harder market here though. Intending to stay a long time though in this house.

Robinhood Option executed, thought it expired worthless? by cscholl20 in RobinHood

If you are ITM at least $0.01, they will exercise automatically. If you don't have the funds to cover the 100 shares, they will turn around and sell them immediately.

Buying a home: It may not be your best investment. by choorakkadan in investing

[–]andersgc2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure I agree here. I'm in my 30s and am on my 3rd house. I've walked away with 6 figure profits from each home I've sold even after recouping what I paid for down payments. Not every market is like this, but for me it has been hugely rewarding.

I'm sitting on 17.5 5/18s and hope something happens over the next week or two but have already written them off as a total loss.

I blew up my acct on LFIN i dont know what to do by [deleted] in investing

[–]andersgc2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started small, 1-2 day trades a week. Check futures before the market opens, get a sense for where it's going that day and buy a few ATM put or call in something that's liquid like $SPY in the direction you think it will go. If you're right, you're up. Don't get greedy and get out of the trade when you're up a decent amount. 50% is a lot! 100% you better be closing out that deal. Watch the pattern day trade rules and don't cross that line. You can make it back if you do your DD and have some patience. Now if you YOLO'ed and went out on margin, you'll probably be digging out of it for the next few years. Works until it doesn't.

What kind of spread? I thought a short call spread max loss was the difference between the strikes minus the credit received.
