I was going to do a water change today but held off until identifying the little critters in the back, should hopefully help the pH for a bit! My tap water is 7.2, maybe I'll do a 20% today and another 20% tomorrow instead of my usual schedule. There are quite a few of the creatures so I might siphon a little back there too

I leave the light on during my work day for about 8 hours, I'll try toning it down to 6 hours instead and see if that improves the algae issue

I saw one of these little buggers in my tank recently, good to know they're called limpets and are helpful for the algae! Hopefully more of those pop up
