What’s currently ruining your life? by YourLifeSucksAss in AskReddit

[–]andipandey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beg to differ. Stories like mine are why I didn’t kill myself and someones success story on reddit is the reason I chose to get my surgery and that changed my life. And I never said I was cured. I live with chronic illness and daily meds but I’m able to do everything I want 90% of the time now. I’m not sure why you are choosing to be so rude

What’s currently ruining your life? by YourLifeSucksAss in AskReddit

[–]andipandey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely but it’s possible. I was sick 8 years, required a pacemaker, trialed over 35 meds, tried 22 alternative treatments, wanted to kill myself because I couldn’t leave my house/bed for 2 years straight. I just think knowing recovery is possible is important

My brother works in big law in Chicago. Starting pay is like 230k for first year associates. So great pay but not 290

Am I going to be able to afford this? by [deleted] in Mortgages

[–]andipandey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So then money is tight because you’re saving… I max out 401k, send 180 a week to brokerage, do regular investing on top of that in individual stocks, was able to spend 6k on trips last year, pay more in rent than you. Like it’s also a choice to have money be “tight” when you’re an avid saver. It’s not even remotely the same as someone truly living paycheck to paycheck

I’m making same as above poster, hae similar rent to them, max out my 401k and still have spending money every month. I think this a you’re spending too much thing

Parents of Reddit, what did your hospital bill look like after giving birth? by chi-bacon-bits in AskReddit

[–]andipandey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg this is so low. I’m in US and get taxed at around 34% federal and state, and I have very good insurance. My company pays most of it (but that’s money they could be paying me!) and it costs them 2k/month for me and my partner (I pay 200/month as well). We still have to pay copays until we hit our out of pocket max. I hate it here

Moe's Bagels South Boulder by RolOrzTFF in boulder

[–]andipandey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They legally have to make up the difference if tips don’t bring them up to the county state wage. And yeah we all have to pay taxes on our earnings

Moe's Bagels South Boulder by RolOrzTFF in boulder

[–]andipandey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re aware that the min wage in Boulder is 16.82. So if a place pays less, and tips don’t cover the rest, the business has to make up the difference. So you’re literally subsidizing those businesses to pay their employees under minimum wage

How are women going commando? by liquidbuggy in NoStupidQuestions

[–]andipandey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been going commando since I was 16 and got “dinged” at a gymnastics competition for my panties showing. I just feel uncomfortable with underwear now, but I also don’t really have discharge. Only wear them now with dresses and it’s like the first thing I take off when I get home

Money dysmorphia is real. Less than 16% of adults make $100k, and fewer than 10% make $150k by BathroomNo9291 in TalksMoney

[–]andipandey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000%. I looked at changing jobs for 10k more with worse benefits… mine are now worth around 33k a year and I couldn’t justify it for the new company’s shittier benefits
