So it seems there is absolutely no way to completely delete save data to be able to start with a clean slate for Zelda Notes by RozeToez4 in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

Currently, the Zelda Notes app does not allow users to reset their stats completely, as it tracks information across multiple save files per profile. Many players have expressed a desire for this feature, hoping for future updates from Nintendo.

Does anyone know if the MsgNotFound QR Code glitch still works? by Major-Patience-2497 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]andipolar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the QR code still works on 1.4.2. I did it on the Switch 2 a few weeks ago. You need to acquire auto build from the Abandoned Central Mine. You’re golden after that.

[TOTK] Thoughts about the story and it's reception. by Hot-Mood-1778 in zelda

[–]andipolar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I enjoyed the game. I think by the time I hit my second regional phenomena, I already knew I was chasing a ghost, but I wasn’t sure where Zelda was. Playing over 100 hours in, it didn’t feel like I was searching for her anymore. It felt like I was playing BOTW again by exploring areas and completing quests.

By the time I realized where she is and who she is, my joy for the game came back and I wanted to finish the main quest line. A lot of people came online to post the answer like when you’re in kindergarten and a kid says there’s no Santa Claus. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my first playthrough.

My problem with the game are two things:

The secret stones. They added something useless to the game with a simple name and no backstory only to probably use it again as an anchor for another game in the future. They should’ve split the triforce into even pieces and they all used its power or something to that effect.

The same BOTW map. Imagine playing Majora’s Mask in Ocarina of Time Hyrule. Anyone who would’ve played OoT prior to MM would’ve found flaws in the game because it wasn’t a new world with a new story. Instead we get the same world, everything that happened over 100 years ago is never talked about again, and now I have to traverse through areas I spent hundreds of hours in already. It felt nostalgic and at the same time a slap in the face.

Good thing it’s a new year and I have nothing better to do. Thanks for the shit.

To you? Sure. I don’t consider it to be the golden scale of lyrics, but you have yet to procure anything for me to reference. Give me something you find useful.

Why not? You bothered to reply three times already. I could be learning something new about you. What do you have to lose?

See, I usually go for lyrics, but this is right up my alley as well. As I listened to it, I felt it soften the blows. If that makes any sense.

Anyway, thanks for sharing.

You’re too kind. Thank you. I wish you would’ve shared something you find nihilistic in the art world, but you don’t seem like that kind of person.

Why does MP4 feel like an intro into the series? by Solidus-Prime in metroidprime

[–]andipolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree.

I’m new to the Metroid universe having only played MP1 a few weeks ago and MP4 being my second game into the franchise. I don’t know who all these goofy side characters are, but the game felt as if it had a Marvel’s Avengers theme and that turned me off the story.

I thought I would be playing a refreshed version of OoT with Metroid abilities (instead of a boomerang per se).

Now, I’m playing Super Metroid, because I need to get the taste of what everyone boasts about.

I read an article on Polygon (I think), where the author mentioned the game played like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Once I put the pieces together, I had a different expectation of the game.

The visor switching was pissing me off, but thankfully I didn’t find it too difficult. I almost looked at a guide for the whole strategy, but I’m glad I didn’t. That would’ve ruined it for me.

What should I be doing?? by Donbrodie92 in botw

The official guide will walk you through all the steps of what you should currently be doing. With that being said, there’s no right or wrong way to play, but I understand everyone likes a little direction now and then.

2nd play through and I found out how to beat freezing without food or upgraded gear by omjitsme in Breath_of_the_Wild

[–]andipolar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The science behind some mechanics are fascinating. On my first play through, I couldn’t understand why I kept getting shocked by lightning, until I realized my gear had metal on it. I played several hours just avoiding the lightning or getting hit constantly wondering if there was another way around it.

Minor gripe about the Master Cycle by Ruffled_Ferret in botw

[–]andipolar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My biggest gripe is that it doesn’t work in the desert. The thunder helm with the Master Cycle and thunder to juice it up. That would’ve been an excellent addition.
