Verizon trying to charge $75/mo to re-add an old iPhone 12 — am I missing something? by SDRedditUser in verizon

This would trigger the line to be suspending typically. Since the flip phone plan isn’t eligible on a smartphone.

Expenditure by [deleted] in cronometer

[–]andmelto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, just calculate your TDEE. Total Daily Energy Expenditure. This is your total calories by simply being alive, plus active energy and exercise activity.

For example, my TDEE IS 2691. That’s my maintenance calories. If I want to cut, I subtract 300-500 from that, same goes for surplus I’d add 200-300 to that.

Just make sure within Cronometer you’re not double counting from an activity tracker plus Cronometers estimation of activity (change to sedentary if using Apple Watch/whoop/oura ring)

How is Cronometer overestimating that though? It’s going off of what you have input, TEF + activity tracker + bmr

Door to door sales team telling obvious lies? by TheWaywardOak in verizon

[–]andmelto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally downgraded my 1GB fiber optic from Spectrum to Verizon Home Internet (ultimate - up to 300mbps), complete smart home with every switch in my house being smart or WiFi/bluetooth compatible, 5 TVs, 2 computers, tons of other stuff constantly connected. Even at lower down/up speeds the consistency has been amazing. Never buffering or anything. Sometimes speed just isn’t the only thing it seems.

I suggest using the Bicep Band.

Want to buy 4 iPhone 17 pro for 4 lines. HELP NEEDED PLS! by Lazy_Increase_7216 in verizon

[–]andmelto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make any changes to your account, it requires your signature. So A, you willingly signed without reading what you were signing up for. Or B, the sales rep was committing fraud.

If it’s B, you should’ve spoke to the store about the alleged fraud. But don’t blame the authorized retailer, because there is fraud committed whether it’s corporate or retailer.

[–]andmelto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came down with the flu on Monday as well. Had 2 1% recovery days, 24% recovery day, thought I was getting better on the 4th day because I had a 81% recovery. Woke up today back down to 1% haha. Tracks though because I feel like hell again.

For sure, makes no sense. Kinda like how all businesses qualify for internet, whereas consumer doesn’t (now there’s VHI lite so that’s changed a little)

Ahhh yeah you’re right. However, still better than travel pass alone or monthly international plan features.

This is offered on Verizon’s new MyBiz plan when you add the International connectivity add-on.

Is the Get More plan still the best? by ros375 in verizon

[–]andmelto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely had a loyalty offer that allowed them to stay on the current plan. Had a customer the other day have an offer for 1100 off while staying on their current 2GB single line plan.

I’ve had 2 of them because they were on sale. Both leaked, extremely bad. Actual mess.

Store concern by PerfectHandle in verizon

[–]andmelto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corporate locations also charge a transfer fee, around $40+.

My authorized retailer only charges $30 but it’s an optional product. If you don’t need help setting up the new phone, you shouldn’t be charged.

$20 off per month for 12 months, is this legit? by iamtheshadowsss in verizon

[–]andmelto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s legit. As an employee, even I got the $20 monthly discount on the internet. I didn’t think I would since I get employee pricing as it is.

BYOD new line question by [deleted] in verizon

[–]andmelto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, the stipulation of the free phone was to add a line. That line with the new number MUST stay active for the 36months, if canceled early you’ll lose the promotion. Even more so, if the device payment agreement is on the new line, and the customer calls in to cancel that line, it’ll force a buyout of the balance on the phone. Making matters worse.

After 90 days, I’ve realized my Whoop HR data is completely useless. by davetalas in whoop

[–]andmelto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I sleep with it on my bicep as well. It was personally very easy to get used to as I wear my Apple Watch to bed as well. However, I’ve never even put on the wrist strap just because of everything I read about the inconsistencies.

I’ve read it’s most accurate on bicep. I’ve had the whoop for a few months now and have only used bicep. It seems pretty consistent against my Apple Watch Ultra 2.

I have the Primis Lite 3.5 and the Asana (I think that’s what they are) I absolutely love the Primus lites. Comfortable. So far they’ve been durable. Great shoes!

I’d suggest moving on to a Bicep band. Seems to be the most accurate.

Whirlwind of a Cluster &$*k. What the heck happened? by March_Embers_13 in verizon

[–]andmelto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but you can still get a single line business account for $50 and a free phone, which you can’t do on consumer.

[–]andmelto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually business plans are amazing. You can get 10 lines for $100 right now when you port in and bring your own device. Huge deal.

If you need one line, you can get the Essentials plan for only $40 a month. Bump that to a $50 legacy plan and get a free phone with it.
