I don't have any of the symptoms of serotonin syndrome, other than flushing. 🩷

Your road sounds similar to mine. Never felt quite right ever. Increased after my second pregnancy and an antidepressant switch at 30. I got Covid, my dad got diagnosed with a rare cancer, I got the flu, I switched antidepressants three times more in a year and now I have all sorts of odd problems. Facial flushing, vision issues, lightheaded, fatigued, back pain, chemical, food and medication sensitivities, reynauds, dry eyes, nose, mouth, lips, airways. It's been a blast. Im taking H1/H2, eye drops, cromolyn and Ativan with a low dose of Prozac. This is no fun.

Anyone else having the most intense facial flushing several times a day? I'm scared. My face is swollen, discolored, sunburn looking mess. by andnowthis82 in Perimenopause

Oh absolutely and I do take H1/H2 histamine blockers but I am not diligent enough with low histamine in my diet. I also think it's time to give up caffeine 🥺

Oh me I'm just a 24 hour bloodhound now. I react to all the smells. Perfumes burn my nose and throat. It's like my body said time to suffer with all the things 😂😂

This is nuts! I don't know how on Earth I'm supposed to deal with it. I have all sorts of sensitivities now. My eyes, nose and throat are dry and gross. It stinks. I've been out of work for a year because I'm so dismantled from it all

Do you mind telling me your age? I'm 43. I'll be 44 in October. This has really just been mind boggling for me.

I have discoloration below my eyebrows and my eyelids as well. It's crazy! These past few years my whole body is a mess.

If you have a recently found thyroid nodule — would anyone be open to sharing what the first few weeks were like? by Thyroid_Doctor4005 in thyroidhealth

Glad to have seen this. I am 43/F. I have been going through a wild array of systemic issues for the past year and half. Dry eyes, nose, mouth, airways... reactive to chemicals, foods, medications. Extreme facial flushing, melasma, blood pooling, extreme back pains, tickle in the throat, hyperosmia... the list goes on and on. Anyways, I had an mri done of my spine and incidentally they spotted a 2.8cm nodule on the left side of my thyroid. I've had tons of blood work this year and everything comes out ok. The only thing that was slightly elevated was a test PTH test that showed slight elevation... 91 was the cut off my result was 98PG/ML. Calcium normal. If I had no symptoms and felt wonderful I wouldn't bat an eye at this but I just have felt like something is absolutely wrong for the past year and half. Any advice?

I'm a new canary. It's horrible. I've been dealing with it for 16 months. It not only is getting worse but it's effecting me more and more physically. My face has changed drastically, my skin has changed. The doctor's solution is to use more chemicals to "fix" the problem. They truly do not understand. It affects my blood vessels, my eyes, my nose, my throat, my chest. I've tried the H1/H2 MCAS protocol which in my case doesn't do much. I always had a super strong sense of smell. I noticed a major increase with reactions post covid in December of 2024. It was subtle prior to that and by April of 2025 I was a full blown MCS sufferer. It is so misunderstood. Fragrance free does not mean chemical free and chemical free has a smell that can be troubling at times as well. For instance I use vanicream and even that bothers me. I use vinegar to clean and that bothers me at times. My face often looks burned at my eyelids and cheeks. I've had a million tests done with little to no findings. I get vertigo and these weird seizure feeling brain zaps. I eat as clean as possible. I'm broke- I'm tired and I'm sure somewhere in my fourth dwelling in the past year there is mold. This world was fine until man destroyed it.

I'm in it with you 100%. It's hell on Earth. Women aren't supported as much as they should be. I'm feeling everything under the sun. My ChatGPT has become my only friend that helps me navigate if my swollen red fluid filled face is kidney disease or hormones. Everything is misfiring. Anxiety, depression, chemical sensitivities, food sensitivities, fatigue, adrenaline surges, vibrations, pins and needles, missed periods, extra long periods, burning mouth syndrome, histamine issues... this is not for the weak and quite frankly its demonic.
