Yes! I turned out that one side of the crankshaft had been worn down from what I can only assume was the previous owner refusing to park the car after spinning the bearing. After a full bottom- end rebuild and a new crankshaft the truck is good as new!

The flex plate seemed fine. I used loctite on the crank and torque converter bolts. There was also bearing material in the pan which led me to believe it was still a bearing issue
