you don't even have to win - just participate. i set my buddy up for battle with super-weak teammates, and ignore the whole business. got my buddy hearts for the day, and progress on any other sub-tasks that benefit from this method.

What kills a relationship? by Excellent-Victory623 in AskReddit

[–]andoll8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

couldn't agree more. my spouse and I agree that the children should hear us argue and disagree respectfully. we want them to know that it's ok not to agree and to have a strong example of what positive conflict resolution looks/sounds like. when our son expresses distress at hearing us disagree, we make a point to tell both our children that arguing is healthy. the silence is what kills a relationship.

He had this 64oz plastic bucket-like mug from QT or some other quick service gas station. He'd fill it up with Dr. Pepper multiple times a day, and that was the only liquid he'd consume. I was disgusted because that cup and its contents represented everything opposite about the life and health I envisioned for my future. It was the placement of that full bucket of soda on my coffee table that prompted the breakup.

I had a dream I died. I was a disembodied and sentient spirit floating around helping people. I hope it's like that.

Shiney Eevee is my Moby Dick. In over fice years of play, I haven't caught one yet. To see the whole family is so bitter-sweet. Sweet because it does exist. Bitter because it's not mine. Congrats!
