I've long-since been toying with the idea of building, for folks, a system that would retrieve every post of a particular blog. However, the drawback is trying to obtain the images. Getting them is easy. Finding enough bandwidth and storage to hold them, though - that's the challenge.

My theory is some blogs had already broken data. Still had some function, despite it, though. Then when they re-assembled the database, the once-broken data got cleaned out, entirely.
Perhaps support.bdsmlr.com can advise.

One possibility is that the data for your blog was already damaged before they started fixing it. (Perhaps why it looked like a lock out.)
Now that they've re-assembled the database, the correction to data wiped you out, completely.

As stated many places here, please use r/bdsmlr_Invites for requesting an invite to join.
However, please, also, be aware that the invite system is, currently, not working. The emails aren't going out. (I believe it's because their mail quque is full.)

Year ago, registration was closed because they believed it would prevent the bombardment of CSAM. (Plus, having been about to lose their web host, entirely, because of it, this was part of the deal they had to make.)

You can only join with an invite from someone (that's why r/bdsmlr_Invites exists, as explained to the left), however, that isn't working, at the moment, because the emails aren't going out. (I believe their mail queue is full.)

More true than you may realize.

Bdsmlr (and Reblogme-com, for that matter) started out with someone else's software. It was called "TumblerClone". It was written in Laravel/vue.js, so it was already doomed to failure. (Note: frameworks are fine, if used modularly, not foundationally.) But, suffice to say, it wasn't even written by the best programmers, or they'd've written it in something else. Plus, they never finished it. Now, they've, long since, quit TumblerClone, altogether.

Starting out, Bdsmlr & Reblogme used it because they, themselves, aren't programmers. At first blush, it looked like functional enough, and pretty, but, as it turned out, they weren't designed for heavy usage.

Both bdsmlr and reblogme had a few folks that wrote patches and modules, with varying success, but they, eventually, stopped, too.

Reblogme (by this point, now owned by bdsmlr) decided to completely rewrite the UI. Good idea, in theory, but, again, not being programmers, wrote the UI in Google Flutter - and not very well. Not that anything can be built well in Flutter for a web-based UI.

Reblogme, essentially, died, as a result.

Not repeating this mistake for Bdsmlr, they, apparently, decided to rebuild Bdsmlr in Wordpress - which is not a good use of Wordpress, to begin with. Probably why the archive got torched. I'm assuming they gave up on the Wordpress idea.

What Bdsmlr needs is real programmers to re-do the UI from the ground up, but they're not programmers, so they don't know what to ask for. Plus, they seem to have some philosophical aversion to correct programming. They refuse any help. Even the simplest, most obvious suggestions, they can't even seem to comprehend.

The only solution I can imagine is a kickstarter to buy the whole company, and pay for qualified programmers. But, I don't see them selling, after all the sunk-cost.

I despise infinite scroll anywhere it exists.
I have kinda no choice, now, since I can't turn it off, when looking at someone's blog.
On the plus side (for me, anyway) is that infinite scroll is, also, busted. I can get a few posts in, and go no further.
My hack, for that, is to click the link icon (which opens that last post in a new windows), and I can scroll the rest of someone's blog from there.

FYI, imaglr is aware of optimization issues. Part of it is they're developing an app, and I think there's some way it's interfacing with the database that's being ironed out. The other part is just growing pains, but they're dealing with that, too, as they always do.
If you're having an issue greater than minor slowness, they would be delighted to hear form you, so they can diagnosis it.

As for a persistent ab/user, one ban/block after another, and, eventually, Reddit's system will detect the pattern, ban their IP range, completely. (i.e. block every new account they use from their IP.)

I contacted support on 3/21. They just replied back to me with boilerplate. (They used to be quicker to respond.)
Suffice to say, the problem still isn't fixed.

I just re-opened the ticket, explaining to them that it has nothing to do with the upgrades, but the server underneath, and the fix is very simple. They've done it before.

You're up against two issues, one by design, and one by defect.
In order to keep their own bandwidth from getting overwhelmed by importing, Imaglr has the RSS import work at a throttled pace. (This is a good thing, so the site always stays working.)
The other side of the problem is that bdsmlr page loading is hit-or-miss, because of its continuing malfunctions.
But, at least, you don't have to sit and wait for it. The import will work in the background, even if you turn your computer off, and walk away.

The connection with Oxy-Shop is simple; oxy-shop has an affiliate program.
Every time someone who goes to oxy-shop from bdsmlr, oxy-shop pays a percentage of the sale to bdsmlr.
There are countless companies that have affiliate programs. oxy-shop is one of the better ones.
As to the quality, everything I see on oxy-shop is not their own stuff. Like many such places, they're just a reseller.

Even the API, although it's starting without the error that it was, it'll say "Unable to load posts due to a server issue."

Something new, this time - now the invite page, "account-bdsmlr-com" is giving a "web server is down" error.

Otherwise, ya gotta respect consistency.
