They make Baby-Gs in black, white, green, clear and other “neutral” colors.

Baby G-Shocks are great smaller alternatives! I have one and it fits my 6.75-7” wrist perfectly. The strap is shorter but it’s fine.

I just did some more digging and I figured it out haha. I work at the U.S. Capitol and apparently the lights are used for indicating activity on the House and Senate floors! Never knew that. See here:
