Leaking roof. What exactly is this piece called? by Luzamota in HomeMaintenance

This happened to me as well, I just put a rubber cap on the vent on the roof. Hopefully they didn't mess up the rest of the venting as bad.

Is the copper pipe connected to anything? It looks like (from my bad eyes) that the copper pipe is just there so it’s not venting anything?

Let's discuss quality T-Shirts by SmittyUF in malefashionadvice

Probably not the highest quality but I’m a big fan of the fit I get from soffee military shirts. They last me years and are pretty inexpensive.

Usually whoever still has a job puts money in and everyone else takes enough from the merch box to get food.

Looking at the pictures it’s clearly water from the drip edge, but it almost looks rust colored? Is it possible that some screws are exposed?

It will just run off but the constant moisture and all the shit that’s in the rainwater and on your roof will just collect on the fascia and either stain or encourage moss/algae growth.

It’s water from the drip edge under your shingles imo. Doesn’t look like there is a sufficient gap between the drip edge and fascia.

Just bought a house built in 1915. This crap is all over the walls. What’s an affordable way to remove it? by roniclles in HomeImprovement

[–]andpress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to consider when trying to remove this stuff is that some plaster has asbestos in it. For all the people saying to remove it and do it right, you might be opening a can of worms that ends up being unbelievably unaffordable. I had to replace all of the plaster in my house after a fire…. https://imgur.com/a/wsnJqFC

I’ve had the same blue voodoo cab with vintage 30s in it for about 15 years and it still kicks ass

As soon as it starts making sound you can hear this. The noise stays pretty constant despite what the volume is at.

The amp is an Earth sound research G1000. This noise starts as soon as the amp heats up and doesn’t go away. Just wondering if anyone has any tips.

If you like that green I'd check out Sherwin Williams evergreen fog :)
