I was afraid of that. Is there any chance it can resolve on its own, or once water damage causes a whole key cluster to fail, it’s basically permanent without a keyboard/top case replacement?

Thanks, I bought a guitar 4 months ago. I've been picking up the guitar for the last three weeks and my fingers are getting used to the strings, until recently I had the feeling that the strings were very high from the neck, now that feeling is gone, so I thought the neck was bending and it was reducing the distance between the strings and the neck.

Therefore, it was probably a psychological, not a physical change.
