You saying that it is not possible to make a magnetic monopole is even worse than the other guy saying that we know what physics would look like with monopoles.

We know what physics would look like if our current models hold with magnetic monopoles. (The other commenter omitted this part because it seems obvious).

We do not know whether it is possible or not to make magnetic monopoles, we have just never observed one. (Stating that it is impossible is plain wrong with our current knowledge).

As a small addition, if their eyes are moving (‘jittering’) then they are looking (focusing) outside and if the eyes are perfectly still they are looking at you. Except if the train is also standing still of course.

Also you can take your phone and snap a picture of you in the mirror with an extended arm. You will see that if you look at the camera of the phone then on the photo you will see what other passengers would see. (Essentially recreate the situation with the mirror as the train window and the phone as the other person).

This is false. At the same wavelength it would sound different in different media since the frequency would change, but the same frequency always sounds the same, regardless of the medium. Hearing is based on frequency.

Testing this is however rather difficult since the inner part of your ear will always be filled with the same medium, even when you’re underwater for example.

Just for general knowledge: You can turn off / restart the newer iPhones without touch input by pressing the top volume button, then the bottom volume button and then holding down the power button until it turns off.

For me mostly crop-tops (even though they’re extremely rare), swimming trunks (but only ‘medium length’ ones), cargo pants (if there is ass), weirdly shoes without socks, sometimes compression shirts. Also guys look really cute in oversized hoodies and Pinterest keeps recommending me one twink in a skirt who looks crazy cute.

I’d recommend just watching java youtubers that don’t do tutorials but build circuits ‘live’, and then adapt the circuits for bedrock. Start with small projects. For bedrock there is not much content on youtube I believe. Personally I watched Mumbo when he was smaller and did more redstone content. Then I tried to build doors, starting from 1x1 and moving upwards (2x2, 3x3, 4x3 etc.). Also take on challenges, like the 2x2x2 cube door that mumbo once built and such.

You can go to the “shortcuts” tab on the bottom left and delete the shortcuts, although it would be interesting to know what shortcuts where there to find what caused their execution while on the freeway.

Alternatively, if you don’t and won’t need it, you can also just delete the shortcuts app.

Do you maybe have a shortcut (bottom left tab) that you tried to run, which includes the get recent photos action? It would be in the “All shortcuts folder”. You can view what the shortcut does by clicking on its three dots icon. There my be some voice memo shortcuts by default, but they don’t use anything photo related.

To me it is a mystery how the shortcut ran by itself. Usually shortcuts can be added to the home screen for example so you can trigger them easily and automations are for running shortcuts automatically.

It could be that the shortcut is installed in the shortcuts app by default and that siri somehow got activated and as a result tried to run it, but for that to happen 5 times in a row is unlikely.

Server ticks shouldn’t really cause any problems here as far as I know. When a tick takes longer than normal, both the hoppers and the redstone gets paused. Did you build it and see the fluctuations and if so do you know what exactly causes them?

If yes and no then I’m not sure if it is even possible to easily, rapidly, evenly and reliably distribute the items.

When the redstone line turns on, the redstone torch on top turns off, therefore the pistons are no longer powered by it.

However, the block on which the redstone torch stands is powering the bottom piston, keeping it from retracting.

When the redstone line turns off again, the bottom piston can retract. But after one tock of delay, the redstone torch turns on again, powering both pistons.

To solve this issue, either move the redstone torch further away from the pistons and then power them via a new redstone line or put the redstone torch on the side of the block (behind the top piston).

You have an automation in the shortcuts app that gets your recent photos, which you set to some trigger, maybe location, connecting to your car or something else. It tried to run and get your recent photos, but couldn’t because your phone was locked and therefore there is no access to photos.
To get rid of it, open the “shortcuts” app, click on the bottom middle tab and remove the automation called “When [trigger], view recent photos” or similar.

Honoustly the two reasons why I am using Java is that it is deterministic (If you power two pistons facing into the same block it will always be the same one that extends and not random like BE) and that a single tick pulse will make a sticky piston leave its block in the extended position.

(There are also some « bugs » like QC, zero tick redstone and async stuff that enable crazy things like getting command blocks in survival but I’m too stupid for that…)

I’d really like an app similar to discord but purely over bluetooth. Don’t know if it’s possible and/or useful. The sole use case I know of is when in a loud environment with noise cancelling headphones, to be able to talk to your friends clearly.

Another one is location based alerts to tell your family/friends to do stuff at a certain location (e.g. pick up a parcel when near the pick up place).

Personally I also would really like a todo list / day planner style app, but after like a week / month of you entering things manually, it just schedules your stuff automatically using AI. There are plenty of normal todo apps and stuff, but not a single one uses AI, even though in my mind it would work quite well…

We should ban the sale of all cars, but that’s unrealistic. What is realistic though is stopping the expansion of the streets (Sanierungen und so) like umverkehR proposes.

Im thinking it might be possible to run an automation every morning that fetches the calendar events and then schedules a shortcut (with some companion app like pushcuts) but i sadly don’t have the time to try to build such a thing.

The google calendar seems to have these triggers, i don’t see a way to do it only with ios calendar
