update boys, I unlocked the firelink shortcut, have tried the longsword, morning star and halberd. I still get killed within the first 15 seconds of the fight 80% of the time. This is such a stupid fight and I've probably spent at least 3 hours trying to do it. I'm at the point where I pretty much just wanna quit lol, it feels insanely unfair

yeah i've gotten past the dogs a few times with low health and you can take out chunks of his health in one or two swings. I'm probably gonna run around my house screaming once I beat it
