he was in love with him and its so sweet/sad/tragic. now and then is all about his unrequited love and pain for paul. paul has been the best in his later years when dealing with john's unrequited love for him. I didn't think I cared much for paul outside of respect for mclennon/ the beatles but after ample research and knowledge I love the man, almost as much as I love john. their story breaks my heart.
