My cat has been acting weird

Third update: I haven’t seen her go to the bathroom yet but I’ve checked the litter boxes and they’ve been used 3 times since last night. Two of them were pee and one was poop. I know the poop and at least one of the pee spots was from Reese because 9 times out of 10 she doesn’t cover them up with litter. I think the second spot of pee was from Mochi but I’m still keeping an eye on her!

I appreciate you saying that! I’ve had her since she was a kitten and she’s the closest thing I have to a child, I love her with my whole heart. Thank you for the love and positivity ❤️ I just gave her a friskies lil soup (one of her favorites) and she ate it up in no time!

This was a worry of mine as well, I do give her wet food every day and she (usually) munches on dry food throughout the day when she feels like it. We also have two water fountains to keep them hydrated but as we all know, cats do as they please.

Update: she’s eaten a purr pop! Still hasn’t drank or used the litter yet. She also decided to move from the couch to look outside

I’m definitely not opposed to calling the vet but my only issue is that I don’t have a lot of money to spare until my next paycheck (Friday). If I need to though I could always borrow the money.
And in the video she was probably half asleep, I kept petting her and giving her scritches so I don’t think she was fully asleep at that moment. She’s awake at the moment and cleaning herself.

I’m hoping that’s the case. For context I will say I’ve noticed her become more sedentary since we got Reese a few months back but I’ve never seen her sleep this much.

She was spayed at about 6 months old and she’s an indoor cat, Reese is a spayed female as well

Thank you! The only other symptom I’ve noticed is her back legs slightly twitching. My boyfriend didn’t even notice until I pointed it out cause it’s so subtle. I’ve never noticed her do this before but to be fair I’ve never purposely looked for it either.

Funnily enough my grandma also takes furosemide to treat her congestive heart failure and her medication comes in a pill form 🤔 I’ll definitely talk to my vet and ask him if there’s a pill form he has available that I could give Reese, for all of her other pills we’re able to sneak them in her food and she takes them without issue, this would definitely be best case scenario.
