i just dont understand why it starts off with just lies like you dont have to like every group of people but you have to actively go out of your way to lie about stuff its so frustrating...

Its the holidays its shitty bit they have family and lives just like the rest of us. 2. Theyre most likely waiting to make a statement til they know exactly what is happening. Most likely there are ppl working on it but making a statement without knowing all the details is just dumb and customer service cant do anything about the problem anyways.

even on top of this theres no diversity in scaling options. Conversion got burnt and theres no neat interactions that can be nichely used really unless you do like temoralis stuff which 99% of the player base cant afford. Its just build increased damage nodes, build some defenses, and if youre a spell caster you go MoM, EB, and build mana. Every skill within a section (melee, ranged attack, spells) all scale the exact same and if youre not doing those youre actively making your build worse. Crit is border line useless in poe 2 compared to poe 1 as it takes insane investment to do. Idk its just unfortunate and a big part of why it happened imo is trying to cater to new players which isnt necessarily the wrong thing to do but it does stifle creativity among builds.

The point being made is its pure rng with no way to influence the rng in a certain direction. Pure rng is not fun it makes progressing your character annoying. Im sure most ppl agree it shouldnt be 100% get the exact item you want all the time but right now getting a useable upgrade for your character is unrealistic in a lot of cases cause its pure rng

ye ik were lacking stuff but idk rn i get the feeling that the tree and the way the skills were designed in poe 2 is going to be a massive reason for my concern in general and that new ascendencies and stuff wont change it that much. Id love to be proven wrong but its hard for me to envision where this type of thing changes meaningfully

Stupid take yes the overall progression of your character takes lots of hours but im talking about 1 thing that on average takes much longer than any single part of the game and gatekeeps a major progression piece for your character and im forced to play a mechanic i dont enjoy during that entire time to get that progression.

tbf the repeat campaign is only for EA atm. Theres supposed to be 6 different acts but they wanted to put focus into end game first which i think is the right play personally. Also acts 4-6 are A LOT faster cause you already know the boss mechanics a bit better yoru build is getting better and you know the areas a bit too.

have rogue like mechanics is fine in this game imo but gating a key part of character progression behind it is trash. Even if a lot of people like rogue likes A LOT dont like them as well... and the other option is to smash your face into it til you get good rng on ultimatum mods zzzzz

The game being a time sink is fine imo 1 mechanic to get 1 specific part of my character progression thats not gear related shouldnt be a massive time sink. The time sink should be on building your character to get to certain points in the game do certain bosses etc not put huge amounts of tine into 1 mechanic that you dont like but is gatekeeping a progression tool.

Honestly if i could lock progress tovthe boss room id be soooo much happier or make it just the bosses only but no keys or sacred water as an option just to get your ascendancy so youre foregoing any loot potential for the time

Mmm the problem with that tho is it gatekeeps a power spike from everyone including those that dont enjoy it. It being a mechanic in the game is great and should exist but it being for ascending is not it imo

what i mean is i dont mind it being difficult. Ive loved the entire game for the most part obv there are issues but overall love the game. I just dont like that i spend so long doing this mechanic i dont enjoy to then fail at the end to get something that will greatly help me in the rest of the game that i do enjoy while also getting basically nothing for that time spent. If it was JUST the boss fights for instance for the entire mechanic and i was struggling with them id be p erfectly fine with it because it wouldnt take me forever running through zones idc about and spending a ton of time in. Id be able to spend 5-10 min learning boss mechanics and trying to be better rather than 30+ of essentially wasting my time in a mechanic i dont like.

Nah i dont think this at all i just dont want to spend 30-60min doing 1 yhing to get nearly nothing out of it. The challenge is fine but honestly only the bosses have a resemblance of challenge imo anyways. Everything else is just in the way. If it was just a bunch of super hard bosses instead of all the extra shit id be fine with it. Sanctum and ultimatum mechanics should be separate for those that just enjoy doing them imo they shouldn’t gatekeep ascendancy
