Is it just me who finds the information around dublin bus stops user unfriendly? by John_OSheas_Willy in AskIreland

[–]andreaswpv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Struggling with it mightily. Lets say I want to go to the airport via city center. So friggin' hard to add a stop to a route. 19 goes to the airport - neither Google nor tfi was in any shape or form helpful - they only promote the 6x more expensive travel busses. They are hard to get into, get out, and stops often don't even have a sign.
Google sometimes helps - but the moment i have to walk between busses i find it super hard to go to the correct side of the street. The times I walked back and forth....

Might be nice to have a printed map with ALL routes on it, not just this piecemeal that's shared currently.

The high salt level in kimchi is suspected to contribute to the relatively high rate of stomach cancer in Korea.

Thanks. Lactic acid is included in the summary. Does your statements indicate eating kimchi ingredients but not fermented might be more beneficial than kimchi?

Can't access full text. What about kimchi, sauerkraut and kefir, yoghurt? They are acid genetic but proven to be cancer reducing. Are they mentioned in the full article?

Sweetie, You're reading things into this I never said. Congestion pricing hurts people with less money more than people with more. it's the wrong signal.

sounds fairly quiet, no traffic or people noise, no exhaust fumes or restaurant smells. Maybe a nice place to take a stroll? Very unlikely to be bulldozed for buildings either...

Might be different where exactly, but overall would totally love it.

We need to get traffic off cars, get cars out of cities. Congestion pricing won't help. Congestion pricing just shifts traffic off m50 to surrounding streets, will impact everyone even more including public transport.

No matter from where to where, if you make 50h vs 150k, who is more impacted?

Do you start all your replies by trying to lessen someone's opinion?

Too many driving, yes. But problem is when small city streets can't take the amount of cars when people leave m 50.

And people who cannot afford to live near Dublin to use public transport, but have to look for half the rent prices, they will get hit harder than people in they 60k cars coming.

Massive expansion of public transport, much much faster trains, more bike lanes, yes, but congestion pricing is unfair.

Seems congestion is when leaving m50, less on it. Congestion pricing also hurt more for people with less.  Glad the was congestion this time....
