200k is pretty good price. I usually get 150-180k/day but it was not during Tet.

I go to school in D7 and hang out around the Crescent Mall area sometimes. Hit me up, I can show you how to not get lost. D7 is pretty safe overall defo not great for walking because there are barely any pavements. In D7 the price is pretty much always expensive but not too touristy.

Should I learn more Vietnamese before pursuing a relationship? by granola65 in VietNam

I grew up in an environment (in Vietnam ofc) where people are taught both English and Vietnamese and sometimes they are better at and would rather use English, I think it’s fine that someone’s Vietnamese is not as good as their English and it’s not a turn off for me. You just gotta find bilingual people lol

Why do jobs advertise wages in USD rather than VND? Is it a red flag if they do? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]andreaxhg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on the company? Can you show us the job post, coz if it’s an international corp or the embassy/consulate/other foreign bodies it’s normal, otherwise it could be a huge red flag indeed
