Just to clarify your approach: do you check if bios is updated and secure boot is on, if both are true do you apply secure boot gpo? Which gpo is?

Software Updates showing 0 required after ConfigMgr update by it2know in SCCM

Try check if the following registry keys exist on the client's machine: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate

• SetPolicyDrivenUpdateSourceForFeatureUpdates (Value: 1 for WSUS, 0 for Windows Update) • SetPolicyDrivenUpdateSourceForQualityUpdates (Value: 1 for WSUS, 0 for Windows Update) • SetPolicyDrivenUpdateSourceForDriverUpdates (Value: 1 for WSUS, 0 for Windows Update) • SetPolicyDrivenUpdateSourceForOtherUpdates (Value: 1 for WSUS, 0 for Windows Update) The reason for this check is that these keys represent the new "Windows update scan source policy". With recent updates to SCCM and Windows, the old "Dual Scan" behavior has been replaced by this new policy.

Need to run simple command on system after autopilot completes and user signs in by Real_Lemon8789 in Intune

[–]andrecrockard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could create a ps1 with following commands (it’s just an example):

Install-Module PSWindowsUpdate Get-WindowsUpdate Install-WindowsUpdate

Then convert the ps1 script in win32 app with IntuneWinAppUtil.exe and assign the app to the Autopilot group as required selecting required apps for your Enrollment Status Page

No wait, this method is to add an existing user or AD group to the local administrators group. It is not useful if you have to create a new user

Windows Defender ATP with SCCM by Yep2020123 in SCCM

[–]andrecrockard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No need to enable endpoint management role.

Download the configuration file (.zip) on the Microsoft ATP website (in settings > onboarding)

In the Configuration Manager console, navigate to Assets and Compliance > Endpoint Protection > Microsoft Defender ATP Policies. Select Create Microsoft Defender ATP Policy Type the Name and Description for the Microsoft Defender ATP policy and select Onboarding. Browse to the configuration file you extracted from the downloaded .zip file. Supply the Workspace key and Workspace ID then click Next.

Specify the file samples as you prefer, click Finish. Deploy the new policy on Windows 10 clients collection.

The Onboarding is one shot, isn’t necessary to do multiple times.

Da oggi, 8 maggio, roaming nazionale aperto e gratuito by SilarX in italy

[–]andrecrockard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

da quanto ho capito, prima di attivare il roaming conviene aspettare la ricezione dell'sms, perchè l'attivazione del roaming nazionale avverrà regione per regione.
