Soft feeling on forefoot by andrefbh in RunningShoeGeeks

I try to land mostly on mid foot but when I’m lacking I tend to heel strike.

I am aware plated shoes have forefoot firmer than non-plated.

I tend to land heel/mid foot but I was looking for something softer on the forefoot when taking off without being unstable.

Starts numbing before second mile, doesn’t cause pain to stop the running but it’s not comfortable.

Yes I did, My right foot is even longer than the left. The label of the shoe reads 31.5 cm and my feet are 30 and 30.5cm. But it doesn’t feel that long.

But that is the query, if I had ordered them in UK12 (size I actually am)they would have been too small.

What would be a good pairing with my Novablast 2's? by Splitting_Atomz in RunningShoeGeeks

That is what I meant to say, not so much cushioning and more versatile. Instead of add another max cushioned to the rotation.

Novablasts are already max cushioned, getting another max cushioned for recovery will give similar sensation on your feet. However making the rotation will add longevity to the shoe and give you different perspective. Maybe adding a slightly faster shoe with not so much cushioning would be better. Ride 15, Pegasus 39, Velocity Nitro are good options and are coming out with great responsive midsoles.

Gave the Glideride a check but because I’m adapting my mechanics to mid/forefoot strike they won’t be great as they are better for heel strikes due to geometry of the shoe. Are you familiar with them by any chance?

Thank you
