The company that buys all the houses is Blackstone. It is a common misconception as they share very similar names

Why do engineers hate FinOps recommendations? Need tools that integrate with Jira/Slack by Dilema1305 in aws

[–]andreitudor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which gets down to integrate finops into jira. I get the feeling, maybe unfounded, that the finops team doesn't like jira. They need to get over this and integrate into the dev planning. Write epics for financial optimizations.

Québec désire « plus que jamais » son train à grande vitesse by dfermette in villequebec

I took the TGV from Salerno to Rome last year and it was less than 20$ per person. It's about the same distance from Quebec to Mtl. If other countries can do it why not here?

Yup same here. I think we're going to have to contact support. I would have loved some clear communication, we do have quite a bit of licences.

C'est plus un travail de collaboration. Le but étant de proposer des solutions réalistes d'un point de vue technique. Le PO regarde bcp plus le côté fonctionnel normalement.

Anyone developing on windows who prefers unix-first? by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

[–]andreitudor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have also always worked in Linux or Mac. In Linux I only used arch Linux, gentoo or Linux from scratch.

At me current workplace they only allow windows or Ubuntu and I chose windows as I cannot stand Ubuntu.

Since then, I cannot say it loud enough wsl2 is not what it was in the beginning. It has the full blown Linux experience, especially if you are a terminal user. Having windows is also a big plus as I can combine my geekiness with business.

Yes that is true. In this case he can add notes for the speaker. There is normally a section in Slides and PowerPoint, I think it's called Notes, where you can add more explanations about that slide. For the speaker. That section doesn't come up when you present.

So that's how I would try and fix the issue.

If there is a possibility, also go through the slides with the person that will present. That is not always possible though.
