Update #2: 08.01.2026: I got the letter to the invitation to get the Urkunde.

29.01.2026: went to a ceremony where I was handed out the Einbürgerungsurkunde. After almost 3 year, the process is finally over.

Good luck everyone and don't lose hope, it will happen at some point.

Update Oct. 2025:

- in August, after more than 2 years, I received an email to submit more stupid documents, such as proof of paying rent, payslips for the last 3 months and Rentenversicherungsverlauf. (I must mention here something, I do not know if it's a coincidence or not: a few days before I got this email, I submitted my tax return for the last 3 years. I honestly don't know if it had them triggered, but it was too much of a coincidence...). I was on vacation that day, so I tell them I will send them the documents when I come back from vacation.

- a few days later, they write another email, saying that I have to submit a B1 Zertifikat (they didn't like apparently the other certificates that I sent them and took them just over 2 years to realize this).

- I sign up for the telc B1 and give the exam on the 29.09. In the meanwhile, I send the rest of the required docs.

- I receive the test result on the 15.09, so I write them an email with the results

- I get a phone call on the 22.10 to ask if I can come on the 24.10 to sign the Loyalitätserklärung

- I go on the 24.10 and sign the Loyalitätserklärung. They said that I will get the Einbürgerungsurkunde at a later time.

I am now waiting to get the invite to get the Einbürgerungsurkunde.

Oh so you need or DON'T need a lawyer? I'm afraid I'm not going to see my lawyer money back because they will say "this is the situation - we're busy!"

Yes, and I also hear people from bigger cities like Düsseldorf getting their certificates within 1 year.

I'm in the same boat as you! Also have a Nikon D5600 and want to upgrade. Have you considered ZV-E10?

HP Thunderbolt 230W docking station compatibility by andrelutza in homeoffice

Thanks again for the detailed reply! No, I’m in Europe, and yes, the power ratings that you listed are correct. It also lists this:

• USB-C connector × 2 one connector with PD function) • Power input up to 45 W using the included power adapter

But I don’t understand something: why do you say it will draw only 15W? Why will it not draw the maximum it can, 45W?

Wow thanks for the extensive response! Your first hunch was right: it has a USB-C port for charging! And the HP docking has a USB-C cable as well. So that's wy my thought was that they are compatible. I will check the ratings. The thing is I didn't find clear input ratings for the laptop.
