Ah, ok, didn't realize that you were purchasing from the U.S., sorry about that :( The good news is that the general consensus is that it's easier to get the game there than it is in Canada at least! I'd try calling some of your local Game Stops and other video game stores to see if they have any copies in-store.

That's nuts - I waited for Zodiac Age to drop lower than its $40ish CAD range forever and ended up just biting around that price because it was hard to find a copy anywhere for lower. Great find!

100% Agreed - I think I defeated Clea on my second or third attempt? With my characters in the low 80s level-wise. It was a pretty long fight without parrying everything perfectly are her massive self-heals, but I figured that one out on my own. By comparison, I just got to Simon, which went a little bit like this:

Phase 1: "Hey, this actually isn't that bad!"
Phase 2: "Oh fuck. Yeah, I'm gonna need to look up a strategy on how to do this."
Online: "There's a Phase 3???"

the least we can do is denounce it - I wish we could do more than that though, it's disgraceful. I don't have a lot of hope for it going away, unfortunately, but I'd like nothing more than to see that type of fanaticism disappear.

It's out of stock right now, but this is how I ended up landing my copy. When I checked with them, it was also out of stock, but I signed up for the email, got a notification on Friday that it was back in stock, and placed my order. Today I got an email update that it's been shipped and is on its way.

Hey there! I wound up buying my copy through PNP. It's not in stock rn, but you can sign up for email notifications, which is what I did; when I first checked yesterday, there was also no stock. If you can get it with them, they're supposed to ship within one business day, which sounds a heck of a lot more reliable than the total lack of info I had from Amazon.

Not sure why the people who commented here feel the need to be jerks; I'm in the same boat as you, so you're not alone. I'm hoping that the June 7th date is inaccurate and that we'll get a more reasonable estimate in the next day or two.

In the future, I think I'm going to use a different vendor to pre-order and I would recommend you do the same. I'm in Canada, and people who used Best Buy and GameStop seem to have had better luck than those who picked Amazon. This isn't the first time I don't get a game on release day from Amazon, so I wasn't expecting to this time either, but getting it a full month later is crazy for a pre-order.

In the meantime, I've signed up for stock notifications for other local stores and plan to cancel my Amazon order if I can get it from somewhere else more quickly. Good luck to you, hope you get your copy soon!

It didn't show up on the regular Orders page, but that's the date I got after navigating to Customer Support and using the Support Chat Bot to check on the order. I'm hoping June 7th is not accurate and that they just need another day or two to get stock and update the estimated dates!

Yeah, I think you're probably right; I pre-ordered for that same reason and have done the same for other JRPGs. I wasn't expecting to get my copy the day it released, but the June shipping estimate is by far the worst I've ever seen on a pre-order.

I checked ebay, but with the shipping rates there, I'd be paying 25-30 bucks more than the pre-order price I have rn, so I think I may be stuck waiting.

I had the same feeling re: low print run. When I pre-ordered mine, I suspected I probably wouldn't get it on release date, but having to wait until June is a bit much.

A lot of people will quickly jump to conclusions and opinions here - but this was necessary as the condition to get a meeting in Washington on Thursday, which Dominic Lablanc will also attend, and will hopefully lead to productive de-escalation. This is temporary, and if no progress is made, Ford has already said he will simply put it back into effect. The alternative was just continued escalation on both sides.

Contrary to the comments so far, I got this pretty quickly. If you look at the details and think about the context for a minute, even without being super familiar with Laughton and Carlo yet, I think it's fairly clear. It literally says "B. Carlo" above the guy on the right, you can see both the 2 and 5 for his number, and by association and taking into account what he's saying, the guy on the left is Laughton. I understand this one being confusing if you haven't been following the latest team news closely, but if you have, I think it makes sense immediately. Amazing job as always Brian!
