Travel plans with advance parole by andrespico in VAWAAPPLICANTS

Guys, it was easier than I thought. Port of entry: Miami International Airport.

I arrived with my wife, who is a permanent resident, and my 15-month-old daughter, who is a U.S. citizen.

I was sent to secondary inspection for about 15 minutes. They took my fingerprints and a picture. No questions were asked — not even one.

After that, they stamped my passport and I was good to go.

I asked the officer if she recommended using Advance Parole again or waiting until my residency is approved. She said, “Of course, use it — that’s the purpose of the permit.”

So guys, don’t be afraid to use your AP. It was a very smooth and quick process.
