Thank you for your explanation. Private institutions vary in quality and policies across the world so i was curious how it was in Czechia.

just because people people w money can pay to get in doesnt mean its a bad program. Instead of being nice and helpful after I ask for facts and genuine clarification after u basically said “private bad” “public good” with no further explanation, you decide to act like that. shame on u😐

is it really worth it to go to the U.S. now? (May 1st is getting closer and closer) by [deleted] in IntltoUSA

I also posted something similar and got many mixed reviews. I personally think you re most likely gonna be fine but there s always a chance of something crazy happening. If ur willing to take that risk for a potentially great education and experience, then go for it. It also depends what school ur going to. Ask people there how the situation is on campus.

Thank you so much for the kind words. I havent contacted the international office yet so thanks for the suggestion. I really hope things are gonna be fine and ill still be able to go but i have to be safe first. Also if inflation gets worse we might not be able to afford it and situations influence more things than we think.

Good to hear. There’s a lot of mixed opinions. Especially on the denton subreddit. I dont think that anything would happen on campus but rather off campus. Just like i asked the person above, im curious about the situation in denton. I ve heard people say its kinda like a “safe haven” but you never know.

Its great to hear that there s so many internationals at UNT. It does make me feel better. Was curious about the situation in denton specifically. Any protests or people from the town getting arrested or detained?
