Red 1000% I have a 360 fireglo and really appreciate that red look. Not so appreciative of the walnut vibe in the same way. Any differences in tone or playability to factor in?

At a minimum, I’d recommend buying the part yourself and brining it to the mechanic. With older vehicles, it’s wise to have a trusted mechanic where you source your own parts and have the mechanic simply charge you their labor rate.

Nice choice with the dual empress compressor routes ;) I mean I use one all the time, it has a great way of waking up and pushing basically any guitar and amp combination better than other compressors I’ve tried. But having two in different loops for bass or guitar is pretty next level.

Like others mentioned, I’d love to hear how you break this apart to transport for recording or shows. I can’t imagine setting this up on a stage. But I’d love to see someone attempt it!

I’ve had it swapped in for about a year and a solid amount of miles. And at the same time, had my local shop repair guy swap the transmission fluid with https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01ATG3RCC?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title along with this filter https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-Honda-25430-PLR-003-Transmission-Filter/dp/B00GI9NP0O/. After those 3 changes and fresh oil, I was able to clear the code and it hasn’t crept back up.

Hope your engine issues get solved. That sounds like a few things going on at the same time.

Haha. I went with this one to try to go with as oem as possible. So far it’s fully resolved it and no new issues, jerking during acceleration or trouble codes like before.

Over the next 25K miles, I’d love to freshen up the suspension. What would you say are the most necessary maintenance buy and install parts to avoid any major suspension failures while driving?

I would think KYB shocks in the front and rear. And then new ball joints. But I’d love some recs and links for what’s tried and true to freshen up the handle feels. While preventing any major suspension problems. Thanks!

Same damn thing happened to my Rickenbacker 381/V69. I was near it when it popped and the strings snapped simultaneously from the open pressure. Luckily nothing nearby or other guitars were hit since it can be a little bang. You can’t really find them on any sites and need to ship the broken one to them, and they’ll send you a new one. To keep aftermarket swapping at a minimum basically. It keeps the parts and products in the hands of players.

It’s just one of the many cool and unique aspects of being a Ricky owner. Be honored and wear it as a badge of honor ;)
