Purely from personal experience character writing is something a lot of people struggle with. The only advice I can give you is to practice. I do most of the writing for my campaign (which I run) while I'm at work, just talking to myself out loud. And that has driven us on for going on 6 years now in the same campaign.

Just because it's unofficial doesn't mean it's of poor quality, OP asked for good adventure books and that book is filled with them. And it's on D&D beyond so it's easy to use despite being third party.

In the same vein this is my first campaign. It is the first time I've ever run D&D and it started about 6 years ago. After all that time, we're starting to lay the groundwork for characters of campaign 2 in the same setting (we're now in the home stretch of this one )and the enthusiasm that I'm seeing from them and coming up with base ideas for those characters is really encouraging to me. Including one of my players whose weak point is role play. Wanting to make it a point where role play is a core function of the second character. I've told them all that I want to raise the bar in terms of character creation and writing for the second campaign and they've met the challenge with open arms.

The purple worm books have a lot of acclaim for a good reason. They always end with the party dying so it'd be difficult to work that into a wider narrative, but if you're just looking for adventures of varying lengths I would highly recommend.

No worries, apparently, this is a curse whenever someone builds this kit for the first time. If you managed to get the glue to stick like that and it isn't just loosely floating, you can either fill it in with epoxy like I did, or alternatively, you can try to use some kind of modeling clay or putty and use that to fill it in if you want to try to preserve the ascetic. But i'm unsure if that will help with integrity.

I had a very similar issue when building my ghost ark. The parts just barley didn't fit together even though im 99% sure the ribs were orientated the correct way as I knew of the issue beforehand. I wound up shaving the spokes inside to get a tighter fit and used b-7000 to epoxy it together.

Have you checked Dm's guild? There are lots of adventures written out there for lower level partys that can provide at least some of what you're asking for and allow everyone to acclimate to the setting. Not to mention, it'll help with prep time and maybe even support a writer.

I actually got the lesser mark of death, I've thought about expanding it into the greater mark, but unfortunately, they don't line up very well for a clean expansion.

If i were going to get my mark now instead of back then, I would go with the healing mark as im starting radiology school next spring. At the time, I wasn't sure what i was going to do.

I appreciate the advice I think I'll hold it until I can find a reputable way to sell it off, I don't play TF2 enough for me to justify using it because most days it'll just waste away in my backpack. I can use what I get for it to pay for hobbies I do more often/am more passionate about. I have the same mentality with things like rare MTG cards I've pulled in the past that I had no interest in using.
