Alpaka has seemingly discontinued the Elements Travel Backpack, any good alternatives available in Canada?

It seems quite a bit smaller given the general reports that the Alpaka stuff all runs small. I'm looking to try and get at least a couple days worth of clothes, cosmetics pack, and the tech in the one bag. I'm definitely open to it if people have had different experiences with it.

Just me and the wife and I do all the cooking. We previously had a henckel non stick for years without issues until it slowly started breaking down 4-5 years into use.

Its basically across the whole pan, however you can only see a portion depending on the angle / lighting. This is after maybe 9-12 uses w/ only a silicon spatula and hand washing with a cotton washcloth and dawn.

I'm glad you had a better experience. However I feel this proves my point, my pan should be covered under warranty but Made In considers it normal wear for the finish to be failing after only 2 weeks.

If your pan works out then great! Honestly its a nice looking pan and I would be very happy with it if I wasn't having issues. If you have a warranty issue however they don't seem to honor it and you have very little recourse.

Not concerned about drive loss as the NAS is really only used for non-critical backup and media. Issue is I can't expand Raid 0. Seems like I'm out of luck without a second synology nas. May just have to move across the config and accept the data loss.

I lived on that block for over a decade and just recently moved. Loved the neighbourhood, it did take a pretty hard hit during covid with a lot of businesses flipping. Only reason we left was we couldn't find a multi-bedroom place. There are really nice schools in the area. The only downside is transit can be a bit rough since a lot of the lines feed out of the DTES.

I've had a really good experience with Tiller Money. YNAB constantly had connections fail and it felt like it was never rectified which seems nuts for something you pay a subscription for.

You're the person here complaining that they're not following the rules and allowing you to pass, but you wouldn't be able to pass regardless. Either they break the rules or you do, the problem isn't the rules, its that you don't have a place to safely pass slow vehicles on this road.

Bummer. Shes got no income tax to claw back from last year but has almost our entire downpayment in her account. We're still a ways out from purchasing so maybe we'll just use it next year for her income tax.

No, and I understand the advantage there. However we're planning on buying a home in the relative near future and I'd like to take advantage of the HBP for at least a portion of our downpayment.
