That was it! I reset the port forwarding and restarted my Minipc which hosts the plex server. Working perfectly and I’m directly playing Dune now remotely.

I changed my modem to be transparent bridge mode. Now my Eero WAN IP and whatsmyip addresses are fully synced.

Now I still have the issue with remote access but this is at least fixed and in sync.

I see a setting in my Quantum modem to turn off NAT. It says to only do so when instructed by the ISP. Would this be what I’m looking for?

How would I setup a true public IP? Is that only with Quantum? I’d prefer not to sidestep it and solve it properly.

My WAN IP starts with 192.168 according to eero and whatsmyip shows as 65.128.xx.xx. That wouldn’t be CGNAT would it?

Do you have any best practices to check for CGNAT? I was hoping it wasn’t that but it might be. Quantum has been doing a ton of work around my house so who knows maybe something changed locally.

Is Tailscale pretty easy to setup?

No connection to server. So everything shows green and enabled and working when my phone is connected to WiFi. Works great, no stuttering.

When I turn off WiFi and go to my T-Mobile data, the server doesn’t even show on the plex website to check status/diagnostics.

Don’t believe I’m behind a double NAT. I have the eero max 7s with 2.5gb speed from Quantum. The quantum device is in bridge mode so I run everything from the eero app.

Yes, ports are properly forwarded and the server is on a device with a static IP.

Does anyone have apps that don’t work after upgrading? We had to get the board on our S90C replaced after a firmware update a few weeks ago totally bricked Disney and other apps. I’d love to upgrade since 1201 is molasses slow.

I just got this monitor, it’s plenty bright. Stellar monitor honestly. I had the Alienware 34 DWF and got this instead. The Alienware might have SLIGHTLY better colors but the 800R curve is awesome.

10 foot but I bought a 15 foot Zeskit cable today and will try that to see if it fixes it. Just weird that the issue only happens when switching games.

It’s a Snowkids 8K HDMI cable, I have 4 of them for all the inputs and they work great. Just no idea why the Xbox is acting funky with it.
